Webbers Post, Exmoor, West Somerset
Webbers Post in the lee of Dunkery Beacon has great views across Exmoor and is a place in West Somerset I really enjoy parking up my camper-van and getting down to a spot of quiet online writing.
Although the views are not as spectacular as they are from the road that runs over Dunkery Beacon, Webbers Post has a cuddly quality that is difficult to define.
Perhaps it is because it nestles half way up to the top of Dunkery Beacon.

Perhaps it is the woods that are alongside the parking area.
Perhaps it is the wood carvings hidden in the trees that were there the last time I paid Webbers Post a visit.
Situated up the hill from Horner, Webbers Post is where I go in the Summer when Horner gets a bit too busy and is a place I am always happy to return to and enjoy for its countryside tranquility in the heart of Exmoor.
